COPENHAGEN, Denmark - September 18, 2025

Contour Design, a leader in ergonomic computer accessories, today announced three new products - a new Balance Keyboard in Mid-Size, a new Balance Keyboard in Full-size and an ergonomic touchpad, Contour Touch. Contour is also launching complementary workstation combos that pair these devices with centered pointing solutions.

Contour Touch is a centrally positioned glass touchpad with an integrated wrist rest that brings laptop-style navigation to the workstation set-ups. The Balance Keyboards are engineered to promote a better posture, responsive typing, together with improved productivity while switching from navigation tasks and typing tasks. And, they are designed to perfectly fit Contour’s centered pointing devices. The new workstation combos are: Balance Keyboard Full-Size with Contour Touch as a soft bundle , and Balance Keyboard Mid‑Size with RollerMouse Red as a hard bundle.

“Users are telling us they need workspace tools that reduce strain without sacrificing familiarity or efficiency,” said Greg, Chief Product Officer at Contour Design. “With the Balance Keyboard and Contour Touch, we are offering ergonomic options that integrate seamlessly into existing setups. Our new combos further simplify creating a comfortable workstation by combining devices that are designed to work together.”

Contour Touch highlights

  • Centered glass touchpad: Contour Touch integrates a 112 × 58 mm glass touch surface into a cushioned wrist rest, positioning the control area directly in front of the user and beneath the keyboard to minimize shoulder movement.
  • Tap or click anywhere with familiar gestures: The touchpad area registers taps or mechanical clicks across the entire surface and supports standard Windows multi‑finger gestures for scrolling, panning, and zooming.
  • Comfort and customization: A high‑density foam palm rest makes transitions between typing and pointing effortless. Four programmable shortcut buttons can be customized through Contour’s desktop software. Contour Touch is offered in wired and Bluetooth wireless models.

Balance Keyboard highlights

  • Comfortable, responsive typing: The new Balance Keyboards use precision scissor‑key mechanism for a crisp feel and features gently dished keycaps that guide the fingertips and reduce typing errors. An ultrathin profile and adjustable tilt legs, including a negative‑tilt option, support natural wrist angles.
  • Designed for centered pointing devices: Both the full‑size and mid‑size models match the height of Contour’s centered mice and touchpads. A link accessory, Snaplinks, connects the keyboard directly to compatible devices, keeping the devices aligned.
  • Flexible connectivity: Customers can choose wired USB‑C models or wireless models with Bluetooth and a compact USB‑C dongle. The Quickswitch button lets wireless users pair with up to three devices, and quickly switch between them.

New ergonomic bundles

  • Balance Keyboard Full‑Size & Contour Touch: This soft bundle combines the full‑size Balance Keyboard with Contour Touch for a unified typing and pointing experience. The keyboard and touchpad share matching length and thickness, and a small connector, Snaplinks, keeps them aligned. Together, they provide an integrated workstation that reduces shoulder movement and supports comfortable transitions between typing and navigation.
  • Balance Keyboard Mid‑Size + RollerMouse Red: This hard bundle pairs the mid‑size Balance Keyboard with Contour’s RollerMouse Red centered mouse, creating a compact ergonomic setup. The keyboard’s dimensions align with RollerMouse Red when its tilt legs are extended, and the Snaplinks connector secures the two devices. This combination allows users to benefit from a precise, centrally located rollerbar while enjoying responsive typing and optimized navigation.

All products and bundles will be available beginning September 18 2025 in select countries on Contour Design's websites and authorized resellers.

Contour Design’s research shows that about five percent of active computer users experience shoulder pain each week, and centered pointing devices can reduce this discomfort. The company designs its products to address these issues by promoting natural postures and providing familiar, easy‑to‑adopt controls. With the addition of the new products into the portfolio, Contour is expanding its ergonomicsolutions to meet their customers' demand for existing pain or preventing future discomfort.
