Full time position (with one day per week off for writing your paper)

Introduction

We are looking for an intern to help us in our sustainability efforts for our company, operations, and our product design. The internship will last from 3-6 months, depending on the availability of the intern, and starting date is September 1st. You will be part of our Product & Product Marketing Team and refer to our Head of Sustainability.

We imagine this internship project could focus on product analysis through, e.g., LCA, or other sustainability metrics. The project will focus on identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for a sustainable transition. This will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, marketing, and sustainability departments.

Key responsibilities

Your research project and article will be your priority, where we believe that our collective efforts could cover:

-           Help us Launch awesome sustainable and ergonomic products.

-           Communicate the findings to cross-functional teams through boundary objects.

-           Support and develop future sustainability strategies with the focus on economic growth while ensuring an overall company carbon reduction

You will learn

-           About bioengineering and how social sustainability in the workplace can be addressed through ergonomics.

-           How to conduct LCAs and help us implement the LCA thinking in our product development.

Qualifications

-           We imagine that while you are with us, you are in your 3rd semester of your master’s education in sustainability, design, or other engineering-related education.

-           You need access to SimaPro from your university to perform the internship tasks.

-           Good to have: Experience in human physiology and Carbon footprint calculations for IT-related products.

What’s in it for you

You will work in a modern office environment in the city center with a positive social atmosphere and ‘winning together’ aspirations. We aren’t afraid to grab a beer together Friday afternoon after work, or go for a run around the lakes, either before or after work. The Intern will be provided free lunch during the project period and will otherwise follow the University standards for internships.

*Before the internship, mutual NDAs must be signed as the project results might be confidential.
